The base ingredient is rigid PVC (polyvinyl chloride) Homopolymer compound with a high level of Titanium Dioxide pigment for long term, ultraviolet (UV) light resistance and impact modifiers for superior strength. The formulation is similar to that of vinyl siding and windows which have a 20 year history of providing long term durability and structural integrity.
What styles of fence are available?

Just like when you spend time in the sun, vinyl needs a sunscreen. It combines Titanium Dioxide(Tio2), and impact modifiers to hold up in the most extreme climates.
How does it compare to wood?
It is stronger, lasts much longer, safer, looks better, and costs much less over time. It can cost the same as or more than wood initially depending local wood prices, type of wood and style of fence or deck but over its life it is about one third of the cost.
Can I paint it?
Paint doesn’t adhere well to the surface which is good in the case of graffiti but bad if you like to paint things. The color of the vinyl goes all the way through so it can’t be scratched or chipped off which means it will never need to be painted.
Will the Vinyl Fence Break in Cold or Hot Weather?
As with most plastics, vinyl will become less flexible in colder weather conditions. However, unless subjected to unusual impact, it will not break. It is normal for vinyl fence materials to expand and contract during temperature changes. Our products have been engineered to accommodate normal temperature swings.
Can I get custom Vinyl Fence styles made?
Virtually any fence style that can be made out of wood or ornamental iron can be made out of vinyl. The vinyl fence styles are only limited by your imagination. There is a wide variety of vinyl fencing styles available if you do not see what you want on our website. Please contact us about creating a custom style for your vinyl fence.
How high can I make my Vinyl Fence?

Vinyl Fencing can break if subjected to a direct impact (e.g. an automobile running into a fence line). Under normal use, the vinyl fence will not break when installed properly. Planks, pickets and rails are easily replaced if damaged.

Most vinyl fences are designed to withstand normal wind load. The amount of load is dependent on the installation of the posts and horizontal rails. If installed according to our specifications, the fences are designed to stand up to normal wind loads.

How do I figure out the amount of vinyl fencing I need?
Prior to ordering, it is very helpful to do a fence layout with measurements for each length of fence. We have provided a fence layout diagram on the How To Order page that is designed to assist you with determining the number of posts and panels you will need. If you still have questions, we are here to assist you at any time that you need help. You are always welcome to fax your layout to ——— and we can determine the number of posts and panels for you.
What is the difference between the different types of posts?
There are six different post options for each type of fence. A line post would be used when a fence section is on both sides of the posts. An end post is used when there is only a section of fence on one side of the post (for example, at the end of a line of fence or at the gates). A corner post is used at corners, and a 3 way post is used when there is a need for fence to run 3 different ways on the posts. Blank posts are most commonly used when a gate is up against the house and you simply need a post against the house for a latch or hinge post and no fence will be going into the post. A Gate End post is used for the hinge side of the gate. We add an aluminum stiffener to strengthen the post and allow for the normal wear and tear of opening and closing of your gate.

Do you cement the posts?
For maximum stability, we recommend that posts be cemented. It is recommended that you treat vinyl posts the same as you would wood posts. If it is common and normal to cement fence posts in your area, then you should cement the vinyl posts. Posts are cemented around them and not inside. End and corner posts can be cemented inside also, 1/4 way into the post.
How big should the hole be if I’m cementing the posts?
A good rule of thumb is dig the hole anywhere from 18″ to 24″ deep, depending on the height of the fence you have ordered and put cement within two inches of the top of the hole (around the post).
How do I clean Vinyl Fence?
As with all exterior products, the fence will become dirty when exposed to the elements. A mild detergent and water should be sufficient to keep your fence or deck rail looking new. For tough stains, “soft scrub” or baking soda works well. Simple Green and steel wool also works to clean stubborn stains.
How does Vinyl Fence hold up to weed eaters?
As with all PVC and wood products, direct contact with lawn and garden equipment can cause damage to the posts. Use caution when operating any type of equipment near fence posts, especially commercial trimmers, which are more aggressive.
Will it mildew or collect mold?
Vinyl products will, when subjected to extended damp weather, collect mold and mildew. They are, however, easily cleaned with a solution of mild household detergent and water.
Are Vinyl Fences graffiti proof?
Although not classified as graffiti proof, vinyl fencing is easy to clean and paint comes off with just a little effort. It may require the use of a pressure washer or in extreme cases the use of paint thinner. 400 grit sandpaper may be used when some spots will not come off using the above methods.
